Frequently asked questions

No. Unlike traditional glass neon, which runs at high voltage, LED neon runs on 12V. It stays lukewarm to the touch, which makes it safe indoors and in window displays, including at child height.
Yes, our LED neons are rated IP65: they withstand splashing and damp. We nevertheless recommend fitting them under a canopy or overhang to maximise their life against direct UV.
Our LED modules are guaranteed for 50,000 hours of use — around 11 years at 12 hours a day. The silicone keeps its flexibility and its colour throughout, without yellowing.
